Exhibition at Janusz korczak library
The exhibition focuses on the difficult history of the Jewish orphanage in Pankow from its founding at the beginning of the 20th century, its closure in 1941, until the opening of the public library in the early 2000s. Besides depicting the daily life of the orphanage, it also presents the various biographies of the teachers and children who lived there, highlighting their ways of escaping the Nazi regime.
